My name is Eli Brown, founder, CEO, and Lead Instructor of RAH Tactical. I am a husband to my amazing wife of over 20 years, father of four incredible children, Christian, former United States Marine Corps Infantry Sergeant, Federal Law Enforcement Officer, armed security professional, competitive shooter, certified firearms and security instructor, and lifelong student of preparedness, protection, and leadership.
Throughout my career I have experienced many different types of training. Some of it was good, some of it was simply a formality. I have seen how detrimental that “check in the box” style training can be. I have left training no better than when I came in. I have personally experienced the frustration and fear that comes with being under prepared for the task at hand.
I learned firsthand that preparation changes outcomes. Discipline matters. Awareness matters. Leadership matters. But I also discovered something else. Many people are carrying enormous responsibility without ever being shown how to prepare for it. However, with most training, it is simply training that checks a box or gives a certificate but fails to build genuine confidence, capability, or preparedness. That realization became the foundation of RAH Tactical.
I realized that many people needed a guide. Someone who could help them navigate the often-confusing worlds of personal protection, preparedness, security, and leadership with clarity and purpose.
My mission and the mission of RAH Tactical is not simply about firearms. Firearms are one tool among many. The real mission is to help people become capable protectors through high-quality training, consulting, and guidance designed to build competence, confidence, and resilience.
Why RAH Tactical Exists
RAH Tactical was founded to bridge the gap between responsibility and readiness. Because everyone who protects deserves to have high quality training that creates confidence and has real world applications.
That gap creates uncertainty. And uncertainty creates vulnerability. Rather than simply offering another firearms class, I set out to create a clear pathway that helps people become more capable, confident, and prepared. That’s why RAH Tactical exists: To help ordinary people develop the mindset, skills, confidence, and preparedness necessary to protect what matters most.

My faith is the foundation of both my life and my work. God calls us to be faithful stewards of what He has entrusted to us – our families, our communities, our churches, and the people who depend on us. Because of that, preparedness is not about fear. It is about stewardship.
My Faith
One of the verses that has deeply influenced my perspective is Psalm 144:1: “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle.” – Psalm 144:1 (NKJV)
This verse speaks to a principle that extends far beyond warfare. God prepares His people for responsibility. Throughout Scripture we see examples of men and women who prepared diligently, led courageously, and acted faithfully in difficult circumstances. Those examples continue to shape my approach to leadership, security, preparedness, and personal protection today.
My goal is not to help you place your confidence, or faith, in a firearm, a piece of equipment, a specific plan, or even your own abilities. My goal is to help guide you toward greater confidence by becoming more prepared, more capable, and more aware. As confidence grows, fear often begins to lose its grip. And as fear loses its grip, it becomes easier to place your trust where it belongs – in Christ.
One of my favorite promises in Scripture is found in Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)
Like many husbands and fathers, I understand the weight of being responsible for the people you love. That responsibility has shaped not only my life, but the mission of this company.
Whether as a husband, father, church leader, business owner, or member of a security team, responsibility carries with it an obligation to prepare, serve, and act with courage when others may be depending on you.
That conviction is perfectly aligned with the words of Christ in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” – John 15:13 (NKJV)
While most of us may never be called upon to make that ultimate sacrifice, we are called to live sacrificially every day – leading well, serving faithfully, preparing diligently, and placing the needs of others before our own.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any prior experience to attend a course?
No prior experience is necessary for most courses, including beginner-level classes like Basic Handgun or Annie, Get Your Gun. There are certain courses that are focused more on advanced shooters. These will be clearly stated. If you have any questions please contact us.
Do you provide firearms and equipment, or do I need to bring my own?
There is some equipment that can be provided depending on the class and/or previous arrangements. If you have your own firearm, you will need to bring it. If you need to rent, a rental fee will be added. Please confirm with the instructor prior to the class.
Is there an age requirement for your courses?
Yes, participants must typically be 18 years or older for most classes, however, minors may attend certain classes with parental consent and prior approval. However for range use 14 is the minimum age. For Children classes (non-firing), the minimum age is 4.
What are your age requirements?
We are able to teach individuals from age 4 (with parental consent) to 100+. If you want to shoot, the minimum age is 14 – Unless previous arrangements have been discussed.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my registration?
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. As a courtesy, we allow one complimentary reschedule per student. Any additional date changes will incur a $30.00 per person rescheduling fee for each class moved. Please submit any scheduling changes at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your class date, failure to do so could result in the forfeiture of you initial class fee. This policy helps us maintain class availability and fairness to all participants, instructors, and venues.
Cancelation Policy: For a full refund (minus service fee), cancel or request rescheduling at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your scheduled class start time.
Any cancellation or reschedule requests must be submitted via phone or email to the contact listed at least 72 hours before your class.
Failure to cancel or reschedule within 72 hours may result in forfeiture of the class fee (no refund). This policy helps maintain fairness to other participants, instructors, and venues.
How long do the courses last?
Course durations vary. For example, the Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit (EHCP) requires an 6-hour class, while other workshops may be shorter (~90 minutes).
Do I need to bring my own holster for concealed carry courses?
While not required, if you have a holster, you are encouraged to bring it. We can provide guidance on purchasing or selecting one if needed. WE WILL NOT BE DRAWING FROM THE HOLSTER DURING THE CONCEALED CARRY COURSE. There are courses that require a holster. Please verify with the instructor if you have any questions.
Are women-only courses designed for beginners?
Absolutely! Courses like Annie, Get Your Gun and Calamity Jane are specifically designed for women and build from beginner to advanced over time. They focus on creating a comfortable and supportive environment while covering the fundamentals. While taught by a male, the rest of the class is 100% women only!
What should I bring to a course?
You should bring a valid photo ID, any required paperwork, and any personal firearms, ammunition and/or gear you wish to use. Specific requirements may vary by course and will be communicated beforehand.
What should I wear to a workshop?
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (closed-toe shoes, long pants, no low neck line shirts, baseball cap if wanted). You will also need to bring your own eye and ear protection. If you have any questions, please contact us for clarification.
Will Children be shooting in the Children’s classes?
No. While all children’s classes will cover firearm safety, there will be no handling of live firearms. Depending upon the class, children may handle a rubber training firearm. Due to insurance and liability reasons, children are not allowed to participate in any live fire exercises.
Do you offer couples or family courses?
Yes! Families, couples, siblings. We have numerous courses that will work for any of these or contact us for a tailor made course.
I don’t see a schedule for the course I want?
If you have a question about a specific course or a specific timeline, please contact us.
Do I need to bring ammunition?
Yes. You will need to provide your own ammunition. If you are unsure of where to purchase high quality ammunition or are unsure of what to purchase please contact us for guidance.
Will I receive a certification after completing a course?
Yes, certifications are provided for certain courses, such as the RAH Tactical and USCCA courses.
