Eli is a former United States Marine Corps Sergeant – and it shows. With more than 25 years of real-world firearms experience, his instruction blends battlefield readiness, federal-level precision, and the practical mindset of private security work. He’s also a competitive shooter who believes in training with purpose, not pretense.

PERSONAL DEFENSE PATHWAY LEVEL 1
Designed for new and newer shooters seeking structured, professional firearms training, this pathway begins with foundational instruction through the Confidence & Skill Builder course and progresses to the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit. Ideal for responsible citizens who want to build confidence, develop safe skills, and pursue lawful concealed carry in Tennessee.
PERSONAL DEFENSE PATHWAY LEVEL 2
Designed for shooters who have completed foundational training and are ready to refine their performance, this pathway builds structured skill progression through Marksmanship Level 1, Marksmanship Level 2, and AR-15 Level 1. Ideal for responsible firearm owners seeking intermediate firearms training, improved accuracy, and confident rifle fundamentals.
PERSONAL DEFENSE PATHWAY LEVEL 3
Designed for experienced shooters who have completed foundational and intermediate training, this pathway focuses on advanced pistol skills, AR-15 Level 2 development, and practical home defense and first aid considerations. Ideal for responsible firearm owners seeking advanced defensive training, higher-level decision-making, and structured preparedness.
PROFESSIONAL PATHWAY
This pathway is designed for individuals pursuing Tennessee security guard training and certification who expect more than minimum standards. It includes state-compliant unarmed and armed security guard training structured to meet and exceed Tennessee requirements while emphasizing legal authority, professional conduct, and disciplined decision-making.
Ideal for those entering the private security industry or advancing into armed roles, this pathway delivers structured instruction focused on legal clarity, accountability, and real-world readiness under Tennessee law.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any prior experience to attend a course?
No prior experience is necessary for most courses, including beginner-level classes like Basic Handgun or Annie, Get Your Gun. There are certain courses that are focused more on advanced shooters. These will be clearly stated. If you have any questions please contact us.
Do you provide firearms and equipment, or do I need to bring my own?
There is some equipment that can be provided depending on the class and/or previous arrangements. If you have your own firearm, you will need to bring it. If you need to rent, a rental fee will be added. Please confirm with the instructor prior to the class.
Is there an age requirement for your courses?
Yes, participants must typically be 18 years or older for most classes, however, minors may attend certain classes with parental consent and prior approval. However for range use 14 is the minimum age. For Children classes (non-firing), the minimum age is 4.
What are your age requirements?
We are able to teach individuals from age 4 (with parental consent) to 100+. If you want to shoot, the minimum age is 14 – Unless previous arrangements have been discussed.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my registration?
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. As a courtesy, we allow one complimentary reschedule per student. Any additional date changes will incur a $30.00 per person rescheduling fee for each class moved. Please submit any scheduling changes at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your class date, failure to do so could result in the forfeiture of you initial class fee. This policy helps us maintain class availability and fairness to all participants, instructors, and venues.
Cancelation Policy: For a full refund (minus service fee), cancel or request rescheduling at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your scheduled class start time.
Any cancellation or reschedule requests must be submitted via phone or email to the contact listed at least 72 hours before your class.
Failure to cancel or reschedule within 72 hours may result in forfeiture of the class fee (no refund). This policy helps maintain fairness to other participants, instructors, and venues.
How long do the courses last?
Course durations vary. For example, the Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit (EHCP) requires an 6-hour class, while other workshops may be shorter (~90 minutes).
Do I need to bring my own holster for concealed carry courses?
While not required, if you have a holster, you are encouraged to bring it. We can provide guidance on purchasing or selecting one if needed. WE WILL NOT BE DRAWING FROM THE HOLSTER DURING THE CONCEALED CARRY COURSE. There are courses that require a holster. Please verify with the instructor if you have any questions.
Are women-only courses designed for beginners?
Absolutely! Courses like Annie, Get Your Gun and Calamity Jane are specifically designed for women and build from beginner to advanced over time. They focus on creating a comfortable and supportive environment while covering the fundamentals. While taught by a male, the rest of the class is 100% women only!
What should I bring to a course?
You should bring a valid photo ID, any required paperwork, and any personal firearms, ammunition and/or gear you wish to use. Specific requirements may vary by course and will be communicated beforehand.
What should I wear to a workshop?
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (closed-toe shoes, long pants, no low neck line shirts, baseball cap if wanted). You will also need to bring your own eye and ear protection. If you have any questions, please contact us for clarification.
Will Children be shooting in the Children’s classes?
No. While all children’s classes will cover firearm safety, there will be no handling of live firearms. Depending upon the class, children may handle a rubber training firearm. Due to insurance and liability reasons, children are not allowed to participate in any live fire exercises.
Do you offer couples or family courses?
Yes! Families, couples, siblings. We have numerous courses that will work for any of these or contact us for a tailor made course.
I don’t see a schedule for the course I want?
If you have a question about a specific course or a specific timeline, please contact us.
Do I need to bring ammunition?
Yes. You will need to provide your own ammunition. If you are unsure of where to purchase high quality ammunition or are unsure of what to purchase please contact us for guidance.
Will I receive a certification after completing a course?
Yes, certifications are provided for certain courses, such as the RAH Tactical and USCCA courses.
