Places of Worship Workshop

FREE Places of Worship Safety & Security Workshop

October 13 | 6:30–8:00 PM
SET Guns & Range | Oak Ridge, Tennessee
Cost: FREE – Registration Required

Protecting a place of worship requires more than good intentions. It requires awareness, preparation, communication, and a practical plan.

Join RAH Tactical for a free community workshop designed for pastors, church leaders, safety and security team members, ushers, volunteers, and anyone involved in helping protect their congregation.

This Places of Worship Safety & Security Workshop will introduce practical concepts that churches and faith-based organizations can use to strengthen their overall preparedness—whether they already have an established security ministry or are just beginning the conversation.

Topics Will Include:

• Building a practical approach to church safety and security
• Situational awareness and recognizing potential concerns
• Understanding the roles and responsibilities of a church safety or security team
• Improving communication and emergency preparedness
• Identifying vulnerabilities before they become problems
• Developing policies, procedures, and response plans
• Training considerations for armed and unarmed team members
• Creating a security-minded culture without making your church feel unwelcoming

This workshop is not just about firearms or armed security. Effective protection starts long before a critical incident occurs. The goal is to help churches develop a thoughtful, layered approach to protecting their people while maintaining the welcoming environment that makes a place of worship a community.

Who Should Attend?

Pastors, ministry leaders, church administrators, safety and security team members, ushers, greeters, volunteers, and individuals interested in helping their church become better prepared are encouraged to attend.

No previous security experience is required.
